Clearly Herbal scoops best baby wipe awards

Natural baby wipe specialist Clearly Herbal has scooped another two awards, this time taking the best baby wipe category for both their original and bamboo baby wipes at the Mother and Baby Awards. This is the second year running the company has been named Baby Wipe by the magazine and the success tops off a year of honours which also included a GOLD award at the Practical Pre-School Awards.
Run by the UK’s best selling parenting magazine of the same name, The Mother & Baby Awards are considered the Oscars of the industry and most importantly the winners are decided by a panel of parents.
Clearly Herbal was only set up three years ago by founder Dee Evans, but has already built a highly successful brand which now supplies the likes of Mothercare and John Lewis.
Clearly Herbal launched their new bamboo biodegradable wipes at the end of 2007, and 2008 and seen the product attract a loyal following of mums eager to look after the environment as well as their babies.
2009 looks set to be another exciting year for the company which now has customers all over the world. In October they exhibited at a trade exhibition on Cologne which saw numerous more buyers from across the globe visit their stand.
For UK consumers there’s also the prospect of two new launches – firstly the UK’s first truly flushable full sized baby wipe. Made from a new material Viloft, this intelligent wipe is just as strong and useable as a normal wipe, however, when it comes into contact with water and a flushing motion; it breaks down into much smaller fibres making it easy to flush away.
The second launch will be a bath range created by Clearly Herbal based on the same principals which launched their original wipes, namely a product which is as natural as possible, is kind to sensitive skin, smells great and importantly represents great value for
money.
